Surya Namaskara or salutation to the sun, is an important yogic practice. From its esoteric origins Surya Namaskara has developed into the practice of twelve postures which are woven together to generate prana, subtle energy, for the purification and rejuvenation of the practitioner.

Sun Salutation should be practiced every morning 6 to 12 cycles.
